Product introduction

This 1653 nm 5 mW DFB (distributed feedback) semiconductor laser is built on an advanced InP multi-quantum-well epitaxial structure with single-longitudinal-mode grating feedback. Its centre wavelength matches the strong near-infrared absorption peak of methane (CH₄) precisely, and it is supplied as a finished package rather than a bare die — removing die-attach and wire-bonding from the customer's process for TDLAS methane detection systems.
