Product introduction

This 1653 nm 5 mW DFB (distributed feedback) laser chip is built on an advanced InP-based multi-quantum-well epitaxial structure with single-longitudinal-mode grating feedback. The 1653 nm line sits on the strong near-infrared absorption peak of the methane (CH₄) molecule, and the chip offers mode-hop-free tuning, a high side-mode suppression ratio, very narrow linewidth and low power draw — the core source for TDLAS (tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy) methane detection systems.
